ANNOUCEMENT

”How to Build a Strong Organization”@HR Library

Last week, I facilitated a seminar on “How to Build a Strong Organization” at 人事図書館. What made this session special was the close-knit setup between the facilitators and participants, which encouraged open, two-way conversations, helping us dive deep into each participant’s real concerns.

One key theme we explored was that while many companies think from a “people-first” perspective, true organizational strength often starts with a clear-eyed understanding of the structure and functions needed to achieve the business plan.

We also examined how different business stages—be it “Startup”, “Accelerated Growth”, “Sustaining Success”, “Realignment”, or “Turnaround”—call for different types of organizations. These stages are drawn from the STARS model of business evolution (as outlined in The First 90 Days by Michael Watkins). There is no one-size-fits-all. The goal is to build what’s right for where you are now, and where you want to go.

We were humbled by the positive feedback:
– “Clearly understood the priority to consider when building a strong team.”
– “It’s rare to get such detailed insights on organization development.”
– “I learned so much about what a suitable organization looks like.”

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants who came with curiosity, openness, and purpose. Grateful to be part of your journey in building stronger, more aligned, and future-ready organizations.
