PwC’s 2025 AI Jobs Barometer highlights how quickly AI is becoming part of everyday work.
A few takeaways stood out:
• Productivity is growing three times faster in industries that are adopting AI
• Skills in AI-exposed roles are evolving 66% faster than in other roles
• Job roles aren’t being eliminated, but they are shifting
• Enabling people to grow with AI, not just work alongside it, is critical
This reflects what I’ve been seeing across organizations. AI is already changing how work gets done, not just in technical teams but across functions.
For HR and people leaders, this raises some important priorities:
• Build learning programs that make AI relevant to each role
• Develop policies that support experimentation and practical use
• Help teams stay focused on what AI can do for them, not to them
This isn’t about distant trends. It’s about adjusting now—how we hire, how we reskill, and how we support people through change.
