Happy Father’s Day!

Being a father to three daughters has given me many opportunities to learn and grow alongside them. Some of my favourite times are helping with homework, talking over dinner, planning family trips or hearing about what excited them that day.

I always enjoy seeing how they view the world and discovering new things through them.

Fatherhood has also shown me that supporting others does not always mean providing answers. Sometimes it means listening, encouraging and enjoying the journey together. Of course, reality is not always so ideal. My wife and I still find ourselves reminding them to do things and losing our patience more often than we would like. Parenting is very much a work in progress.

In many ways, those experiences carry over into leadership as well. Helping people grow, creating trust and supporting them as they find their own path often matters more than having all the answers yourself.
